March 29th-April 12thCLOWN SHOES TAP TAKE OVER AT THE IPSWICH ALE BREWER'S TABLE

Clown Shoes Beer has been contract brewing at Ipswich Ale Brewery since December 2009, working with our brewing staff to craft and to brew their products. Their beer styles are creative, innovative, and are constantly pushing the envelope. From beer brewed with holy water, to the many iterations of barrel-aged products...they keep our brewing staff on our toes.

We are excited to show the public another side of what it is we do here at Ipswich Ale Brewery, and couldn't be more excited to have six rotating draft lines of Clown Shoes Beer on tap, specialty bombers and Crowlers for sale, and Clown Shoes apparel on shelves for two whole weeks!

Saturday, April 29th Ipswich Ale Brewery ½ Marathon

Crane Beach, Ipswich, MA

On Saturday, April 29th, runners will "Storm the Castle" as they leave Crane Beach, attack Castle Hill surrounding the Crane Estate, then proceed towards Ipswich River and country roads, until you wind back to the beach. This year, the event will be limited to a field of 600…so you'll need to get on board early! No race would be complete without a post-race party, and this year we’ll be celebrating with an Ipswich Ale in hand, under a tent, alongside A&B Burgers, Copperdome Crust Mobile Pizzeria, the Whoopie Wagon, and Little Wolf Coffee Roasters, plus a DJ pumping some of your favorite tunes!
