News on the New Brewery and our Crops!

Farmers Report:

Above is a picture of our 2012 Rye field. Located at Maple Croft farm here in Ipswich. We look forward to harvesting this massive amount of Rye and using it in an upcoming 5 Mile Local Harvest beer!

 

New Brewery Report:

Construction is moving along on the new brewery and we're happy to announce that we've received some brand new tanks! These 4 new additions to the brewery are each 120 barrel tanks. With them we'll be able to add 12,000 barrels to our annual capacity! To break it down, this is about 165,000 more cases of beer or 3,960,000 more bottles per year! Cheers to the new tanks and brewing more beer!

In addition to our new tanks we've also got some new grain silos. Although we don't have a picture, the silos are soon to be positioned in the front of the new brewery. If you happen to be driving by be sure to wear your sunglasses because all this new equiptment is ~shiny~
