Join us as we pour beer out of the Tapmobile at the 5th Annual Old Newbury Bonfire!
This fun family event commemorates the original purchase of the town on January 13, 1701, with a three-story Christmas tree bonfire. Families will enjoy music, games, tours, crafts, food, and the company of thousands of their neighbors!
There is also a fun, high-energy auction with prizes like a ride to school in a fire truck, cords of wood, and original art. Two lucky winners will be the official lighters of the bonfire!
House tours of the 1690 Spencer-Peirce-Little House begin at 3, along with treasure hunts and hot cider and donuts. The auction for fire-lighting will begin at 5 p.m. with the lighting to follow immediately. Additional auction items will be offered later.
The Old Newbury Bonfire is free with a $5 parking fee and additional cost for food and drink. Donations are always welcome. This year’s event continues to raise funds for the Newbury Fire Department Protection Fire Company #2 is a Non-profit 501 (c) 3 that owns all its own equipment and buildings.
